Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go. They merely determine where you start.

About KGPS

Valuing Ourselves

We all experience stress and emotional upheaval at some point in our life. These are the times it is most important to feel heard, understood and valued.

In therapy, it is also essential to develop a good therapeutic relationship, building trust and collaboration in our work together.

This is the basis of my practice where a warm and non-judgemental approach is offered, with respect for personal values, life styles and diversity across all ages. Whether working with individuals, couples or families we will aim to explore the things you wish to change in yourself, your life and your relationships.

Every one of us is unique and we will work together so that your therapy is tailored to your needs, goals and preferences. As the full range of human neurodiversity is increasingly recognised and understood, our differences are to be celebrated and valued.

The main therapies we may use are:

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Systematic Therapy - couples & families

I am an Associate Fellow and Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS); and Member of EMDR UK.

I have an enhanced DBS check.

As a Registered Clinical Psychologist, I work within expected professional codes and guidelines in respect of continuing professional development, duty of care and confidentiality.
