Introduction to Karen
As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). My accreditation can be verified on their Register and Directory of Chartered Psychologists at www.bps.org.uk
I am a very experienced therapist with over 17 years working in the National Health Service. Prior to my move to independent practice in February 2007, I was a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and Deputy Head of the clinical psychologists working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
I have particular interest and expertise in assessment and intervention for child/adolescent mental health, autistic spectrum disorders and developmental delay.
As a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, I am expected to work within the professional code of the BPS.
I am also committed to ongoing professional development, to up-date my knowledge and skills, and also receive supervision for my work.
